It''s because A) most of the minimill companies are too cheap to put home and limit switches on the machine B) the minimills don''t have enough axis torque to damage the machine

Jan 24, 2018· I have given up putting limit switches on my machines. I have a passive IR light in my garage that comes on when I move around that almost always triggers the limit inputs. Funny thing is, I use Homing Switches all the time and have never had a false trigger on them. Maybe because it ignores them except during the homing cycle. MG
